Barton Hills is a residential neighborhood on the limestone hills south of Barton Creek, built out mostly in the 1950s and 60s. Its defining feature is the Barton Creek Greenbelt, which runs along its northern and western edge and gives the neighborhood direct trail access down to the creek, the swimming spots and the climbing walls in the canyon.

It is almost entirely houses. The commercial activity residents use is on South Lamar to the east and Barton Springs Road to the north, and both of those sit closer to other centroids, so the count on this page is the smallest in the directory. What our pull found inside the 1.2 km radius is mainly the parks and greenbelt access points, and that is what people come here for.
