Bouldin Creek is the wedge of streets between South Lamar and South Congress, directly across the river from downtown. South First Street runs through the middle of it and is the neighborhood’s own main street, quieter than the two bigger avenues either side, with taco places, coffee and food trailers spaced along it.

The housing is mostly older single-story bungalows on small lots, with newer two-story builds squeezed in where the old ones came down. The creek the neighborhood is named for runs through the middle and shows up as a line of green on the map. It is one of the most walkable districts south of the river and one of the closest to downtown by bike.

Our radius is about 1 km from a point on South First. The eastern edge shares the South Congress strip with the South Congress page, and the western edge touches Zilker at South Lamar.
